COMMUNITY COFFEE GATHERING -is held the first 3 Wednesdays of each month in the reception area at the Church from 1:30-3:00. All are welcome.

- CANADIAN FIDDLE CHAMPION SCOTT WOODS: will be putting on a concert called “Fiddle Legends” at Sunnybrook United Church in Red Deer on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 7 pm. Proceeds will help to support Sunnybrook United Church and children and Youth programs at Kasota East Camp. Tickets can be purchased at Sunnybrook United Church or by calling 403-347-6073.

- ISRAEL-JORDAN TOUR-  October 15-30, 2012 co-hosted by David and Margaret Gilchrist and Len and Linda Stumpf. Tour will include a special visit of a peace-making school, ” Oasis Village of Peace, made up of half Arab families and half Jewish families. Early booking discount available until June 15, 2012. BOOK STUDY GROUP- this group meets in the Church kitchen Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:00 am.

SUNDAY SCRIPTURE READINGS - If you are interested in reading scripture at Sunday Worship, please sign up at the back table. Copies of the readings can be picked up the back table in the church.

–TRUCKS AND VANS NEEDED - The UCW Thrift Shop is looking for volunteers with access to a truck or van to transport surplus goods to the Mustard Seed in Calgary. If you are able to help out, contact Joyce Waters at 403-335-3840

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR SUNDAY SCHOOL OR IN THE NURSERY –we are very much in need of adults to spend time with our children on a Sunday morning. Please support this important ministry.

PASTORAL CARE COMMITTEE – encourages you to contact them if you or someone you know needs support. Members are Silvia Aebersold, Birgit Due, Ethel Ryckman, and Phyllis Armstrong. We are always looking for new members so please join us!

OPPORTUNITY KNOX – don’t forget to make use of the small bulletin board in the hall way to request or offer assistance for transportation, yard work, handy-man skills, babysitting, etc. Or leave your business card to promote your business.

KNOX NEEDS YOU! You are encouraged to participate in some of the opportunities that help make our church a welcoming and inviting place. Read scripture, host coffee, teach Sunday School, or help in our nursery on Sunday mornings (see the sign-up sheets on the hall table).
